Greenlight is a debit card designed for kids to learn about finances that’s controlled by parents. It works just like a regular adult’s debit card. Kids use it to pay at stores, supermarket, online and to save money.
The card is funded through the parent’s bank account, and parents control where and how much their kids spend.
Greenlight is popular with parents as it not only get kids to do chores or get good grades. It also teaches them about finances in a way they can understand. And through April Greenlight is running a sweepstakes to win $1000.
The purpose of the sweepstakes is to educate kiddos about money and learn to make smart financial choices. Kids as young as 5 can have their own Greenlight debit card.
In addition to the sweepstakes, new users get Greenlight free for 30 days and at the end of the trial period get a $10 welcome bonus added to their account.

How to Enter Greenlight Sweepstakes
- Use this link to download get Greenlight free 30 day trial with a $10 bonus account, or login to your Greenlight App (if you already have an account you don’t qualify for the bonus though.)
- After installing the app, first time users need to register by entering your your name, and email.
- In order to fund the Greenlight account for your kid, next you’ll link your bank account. This is all done under a secured protocol encryption, and your information is not saved to the app.
- Next order your child’s debit card.
- You’ll be prompted to enter your email and create a password to get started.
- Then create a login and download Greenlight on your child’s device.
Charitable contributions
- Allocate allowance or move money into your child’s “Giving” account.
- Navigate to the bottom of your child’s dashboard to find the “Give with Greenlight” module.
- Kids use their app to research charitable organizations. When they’re ready to make a donation, they’ll be taken to Charity Navigator.
That’s it! Earn up to a maximum of 5 entries when your kiddo watches the stories throughout the month of April.
Greenlight Sweepstakes Rules
The Sweepstakes begins 12:01 a.m., E.T. on April 4, 2022, and ends on 11:59 p.m., E.T. April 30, 2022. Open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico and all United States territories and possessions) and who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Prizes
A total of five (5) prizes will be awarded to a total of 5 winners. Each Prize will consist solely of one (1) one thousand dollar ($1,000) credit to the Entrant’s Greenlight Account. The winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about May 20, 2022.
