The welcome box is free but it isn’t automatic however. You have to follow a few simple steps to receive this freebie.

Amazon Welcome Baby Registry Guide
To get the Amazon Welcome Baby Box and enter the Baby Registry Sweepstakes just follow this simple guide.
1. Set up your Amazon Baby Registry
- First Join Prime if you haven’t already. (you can also join through Prime for students if eligible)
- Then head over to Baby Registry and click on “Create new Baby Registry“ button.
- Enter name, address, expected arrival date and baby shower information.
- Registry Perk: under email options sign up to receive email newsletters. These usually send parenting, maternity tips and deals and often include coupons and other savings for baby items.
- At the top, click on “Checklist”. Click through each category, and add at least one item to your registry from each category. Complete at least 60% of your checklist. (This is what it looks like:)
- Under each category are sub-categories with a box next to it. Add an item to the sub-category and click add to registry. (Here is an example:)
Make sure all checkboxes are checked for each category.
2. Claim your Welcome Baby Box
- In order to claim the welcome baby box a $10 purchase from your baby registry must be completed.
- Simply search for an item that’s at least $10 and click “Add to Baby Registry” or choose something already in your registry and head to checkout. Tip: items in your baby registry don’t need to be just for baby. Don’t forget to include items for mom and dad as well.
- Once your baby registry purchase has shipped you will see the “Welcome Box” button at the top on your registry page. Click redeem, and the welcome box will be added to your cart with $0 cost and free shipping.

While the products included in the Baby Welcome Box vary per recipient, it includes full, travel and sample size products. From pacifiers to diapers, parents will find a selection of items needed to get ready for your baby. Free baby stuff valued at $35.
