How to link CVS and Ibotta Steps
Step 1: Open the ibotta app and search for CVS.
Step 2: Select “Link Account” at the top of the screen. This will prompt you to either link your existing or create a new CVS rewards account.
If you don’t see the option to link accounts, simply search for CVS, add rebates to your list and click redeem. This will prompt a pop-up to link both accounts.
Step 3: Ibotta app will prompt to enter your phone number and email you use for your CVS account. This will connect both ibotta to your CVS account. Then check your email for a verification link. Once you’ve entered and verified your information, your accounts are linked. You’ll see a success message if it does
Mine took half an hour to get linked. As the video below shows, I had a bit of trouble because I needed to update my CVS password.
While the apps were getting linked, I browsed ibotta and added CVS store rebates to my list.
Step 4: When shopping in-store, at checkout simply scan your CVS rewards card or enter your phone number like you normally would.
Chaching! Cashback will show up in your ibotta account anywhere between a few hours to a couple of days.
No need to upload the CVS receipt anymore.
TIP: Remember to use coupons, add rewards and even pay with extracare bucks or CVS gift card to double up on savings prior to paying.
